About Me

I went to high school at South Brunswick High School in New Jersey. That is where my passions for music and astrophysics were first brought to light. I am currently studying Astrophysics as well as Music at UC Berkeley.

I was in marching band for all four years of high school, and was also part of various ensembles, like the Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and several smaller groups. Being so involved in music and having an amazing music department was definitely what led me to continue on that path and major in music in college. I am passionate about performing and playing music that evokes an emotional response, and connects people together.

My passion for astrophysics is a result of the amazing teachers I had in science and math classes in high school. Those teachers shared their love for science, and got me interested in astronomy. I have always looked up at the night sky and sought to understand what was out there. I want to contribute to our knowledge of space, and I want to understand how the universe works with new advancements in research and technology.

I hope to go to grad school in the future and eventually get my PhD in astrophysics.

In addition to being a student, I am also an artist. I own a small business on Etsy, where I sell pieces of art that I make. I enjoy reading books in my free time, and I am currently working on building up my personal home library.

Undergraduate Lab at Berkeley, Physics and Astronomy Division - Lab Manager

ULAB is an organization that works to help provide access and an introduction to research for undergraduate students. We want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get started with research, regardless of their background. As a freshman with little coding or research experience, joining ULAB as a mentee really helped introduce me to research, and I got a research project and great friends out of it (read more about my project here). So, as a sophomore, I joined ULAB staff as a lab manager to help create an even better experience for the next group of undergraduates. As lab manager, I help create lesson plans, recruit and check in with mentors, and help ULAB run smoothly overall!
